![]() I turn them on for every option except self. Am I going crazy and that's how it's always been? Anyone have ideas on how to fix if not?Įdit- things like goats and chickens no longer have names/health bats either, and I swear they did before. UI On/Off is bound to 9 on my keyboard, so if I want to take a. I can't figure out why some of them have a shorter range now. The most basic use for Screenshot Helper is to install it and press the key to hide the UI. I uninstalled the addon and deleted saved variables, relogged, restarted the game, increased viewing distance to test it (no effect). ![]() There's no distance setting for that in the game. It's irking me to no end that I can't figure out how to fix this. Friendlies are mostly normal (they seem to fade in with the rest of the world elements), and even some other bigger enemies are seemingly normal too. Is there a way you change the default location where ESO screenshots are stored I know I can use Windows or a 3rd party application to take screenshots and then storm those accordingly but at this time I would prefer to use the in game system. And they don't fade in, they appear suddenly when I get in range. Once I got all my settings back where they should be, I noticed some enemies like the salamanders, wolves, thunderbugs, etc, their nameplates/health bars don't show up until I'm much closer to them now. Ok, no problem, I'll just turn them back on. ![]() But after I was done, I saw that it turned off all my nameplate/healthbar settings. Still having issues with the nameplates/quest indicators but as long as I remember to turn them back on, it's not a huge thing.I wanted to take a good screenshot of my outfit, so I installed the addon Screenshot Helper. I did not realize that there was a 'reset camera' under the regular game options that solves the above problem related to the camera. Instead, I have to finagle it and try to approximate to get it back into the correct position to play.ĮDIT: I am an idiot. This, by far, is the hugest problem as there is no way for me to set the angle/FOV back to default. Even booting the game without the addon installed, my camera angle/FOV is wrong on the character I altered. (Doing a completely fresh boot between, not just reloadui) and nothing seems to work. I've tried deleting that and the addon itself. I've tried deleting the a in SavedVariables. I tried using the portrait option after to reset but it does not work. So if I have moved closer with FOV or move the crosshairs away from default, I have to try to finagle them back into place. Last, when I turn my UI off and move the camera, pressing my UI does not reset the crosshair or FOV. ![]() I change sound or resolution, reopen the game - and it stays as before I changed it (usersettings file last edit done 2 days ago). Quest indicators also occasionally get turned off between sessions as well. To explain, eso wont save any screenshots (rip all my screenshots from markarth's ending I did today and yesterday), the last screenshot dates 2 days ago. After a complete restart, my Nameplates have all my settings turned off again (which is why I thought the red glow was gone). Is this something that was changed with one of the more recent patches and could it be possible to adjust so that when UI is on the red glow is visible?ĮDIT:Okay, so after double-checking, I seem to be having the same problem as JasminaChillibeaner. I checked Add-On settings but Screenshot Helper does not appear in the Add-Ons settings list. I have however noticed that regardless of whether my UI is toggled off or not, I do not have enemy glow. I decided to give this a try today as I really love taking pictures of my characters. ![]()
